He loved and enjoyed family gatherings, holidays, his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was prideful of the care taking of his yard and lawn mowing and loved his dog Chip.
Cecil is survived by his wife of 62 years Barbara J. (Cox) Burd, children Kevin Burd, Douglas Burd of Texas and Sherry Burd of Phillipsburg, NJ, grandchildren Nicole, Allyson, Amy, Christian, Gianna, Joel, Sarah and Timothy, great grandchildren Grayson, Benjamin Abigail Caroline and Jordan and a brother Richard Burd of Verona, NJ.
He was predeceased by his daughter Donna Snyder.
Calling hours will be on Saturday May 1, 2021 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM and from 5:00PM until 7:00PM in the Coughlin Funeral Home 15 Academy Street Califon, NJ 07830.
Interment will be on Sunday May 2, 2021 ay 1:30 PM in the Lower Valley Union Cemetery, Califon, NJ.
