Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rick Seals, pastor of the Roxton United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery at Roxton.
The former Miss Anna Baldwin, Mrs. Bywaters was born in Paris, a daughter of Benjamin Joseph and Addie (Davenport) Baldwin. She attended Paris schools, Stewart Hall in Staunton, Va., and graduated from Wesley College in Macon, Ga. She married Mr. Bywaters in Roxton and made her home there until about five years ago.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Roxton and was active in its women's organizations and taught a Sunday school class. She was a member of the Joseph Ligon Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, the Music Study Club, McCuistion Auxiliary, YMCA and was a life member of the Cosmos Club. She had served on the boards of the American Red Cross and The Salvation Army.
She is survived by one son, Ashburn Hunter Bywaters of Roxton; two grandsons, Asburn Hunter, Jr. of Dallas and John Kelty Bywaters of Houston; one sister, Mrs. Marie B. Webb of Paris; three nephews, Milton Bloodworth of Dallas, Charles Baldwin Bauer of Corpus Christi and Benjamin Baldwin Bauer of Paris and one niece, Mrs. Helen B. Smith of Austin.
The family will be at the residence, and will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
