Morgan Rites Held Here, Sunday
W. H. Morgan, who had been ill only a few days, passed away at his home In Coweta, Saturday morning.

Obituary William Hansford Morgan was born January 22, 1868 ln Crawford County, Arkansas and died May 7, 1949 in Coweta, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years, 3 months and 9 days.
He was united In marriage on Jan. 29, 1891 to Amanda Isaacs. To this union seven children were born.

He Is survived by three sons, Virgil Morgan of Fort Gibson; Leonard Morgan and Albert Morgan of Coweta; two daughters, Miss Sarah Jane Morgan of the family home and Mrs. Alpha Dobbins of Coweta; one step-son, Andy Morgan of Muldrow; two brothers, Marshall Morgan, Muldrow, Whitt Morgan of Bixby; four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Creek more of Broken Arrow, Mrs. Hester Nelson of Bixby, Mrs. Nannie Castell, Stillwell and Mrs. Liza Earley of Texas; 24 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was' a member of the Baptist church.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon in the Baptist church with Rev. S. U. Butts in charge.
Music was furnished by a quartette composed of Herbert, Rufus and Floyd Claxton of Coweta and Ben Cole

Pallbearers were R. H. Reynolds, Deed Dobbins, Lewis Dobbins, Perry Cypert, Wm. Clausing Jr, and Frank Malcom.

Ladies in charge of flowers were Mrs. Rufus Claxton, Mrs. Jim Hodges, Mrs. Allen Bryan, Mrs. J. S. Hodges, Wanda Swartwood and Mary Wyatt.

Burial was made at Bixby under the direction of Wright Funeral Home.
