Thelma P. Tolliver, 87, of Xenia, died at 10:16 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2006, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.
Visitation was Sunday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Flora. Funeral services were today at Oak Mound Christian Church in Xenia with Pastor Lance Thackrey officiating. Burial was in Oak Mound Cemetery.
Mrs. Tolliver was born on September 2, 1918 in Xenia, the daughter of Ernie and Minnie Ora (Akes) Colclasure. She married Lloyd Jacob Tolliver on January 8, 1935. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of Oak Mound Christian Church.
Mrs. Tolliver is survived by four sons, Bill Tolliver and his wife, Alice of Flora, Jim Tolliver of Clay City, John Tolliver and his wife, Cathy of Clay City and Jack Tolliver and his wife, Toni of Flora; four daughters, Sally Senters and her husband, David of Xenia, Jo Trotter of Flora, Pat Harrell and her husband, Xon of Louisville and Polly Tolliver of Salem; her sister, Freida Freeman of Xenia; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Donald Lloyd and Leslie Roger "Tom"; her daughter, Susie Jane; two grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister.
Memorials may be made to the family.
