Barney L. DuBois, 79, of 505 S. Prairie St., a retired barber, died at 12:05 a.m. today in Missouri Delta Community Hospital.

He was born March 22, 1895 at Vincennes, Ind. and was a veteran of World War I. On July 16,1944, he married Eunice Calhoun, who survives.

He also is survived by two sons, Barney L. DuBois, Jr. and Michael William DuBois of Memphis; one brother, Phillip DuBois of Los Angeles; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Spies of Elsberry; and one grandchild.

Friends may call at Welsh Funeral Home, where services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Paul Walker, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
