Mrs. Lasha will be remembered as a loving mother, grannie, wife, and friend. She had the most beautiful blue eyes. She was our crazy ol' lady and lived life on her own terms. She loved gardening, being outdoors, and making handmade Christmas gifts for her family. Betty was an exceptional cook and enjoyed cooking Sunday dinner for her family and made the best from scratch biscuits, fruit salad, and okra gumbo. A selfless and loving woman, she was "Grannie" and "Great GaGa" to her loved ones.

She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Ann Congleton and husband Donny and Rebecca Jo Dorociak; three granddaughters, Anjanette Perkins, Jade Dorociak and fiancé' Christopher Adams, and Hope Dorociak and fiancé' Tyler Sanders; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Eian, Layna, Rosie, Eva, Conner, and Carter; one great-great-grandchild, Hadley; her two dogs, Zoe and Poohbear; as well as numerous extended family members.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Annie Burrows "Mama WeeWee" and Kaiser "Tar-Baby" Burrows; biological parents, Benny Burrows and Minnie Parker Burrows; husband, Ralph "Roy" Lasha; sister, Evelyn Canter; son-in-law, Michael Dorociak; great-granddaughter, Sydney Rae Perkins; and great-great granddaughter, Alaia Rayne Jasper Doyle.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the South Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home, Lake Charles, on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until the Memorial Service, led by Bro. Tony Bourque, at 3:00 p.m.
