Funeral for Harry Joseph Arthur, 4015 SE 31st Ave., will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Colonial Mortuary. Entombment will be at Riverview Abbey Mausoleum.
Mr. Arthur died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 22, 1887, in Santa Barbara, Calif. He was a resident of Portland for 50 years.
Mr. Arthur was a meat cutter. He worked for Terminal Meat Market from 1911 to 1935. His specialty was veal skinning and he served in this capacity for several meat commission houses in the Portland area.
He was a member of Mt. Tabor Lodge No. 42, AF&AM and Meat Cutter Local No. 148.
Survivors include one daughter, Lucille Aandreud, Hoquiam, Wash.; one son, John F. Arthur, Portland, and four grandchildren.
