She married my great great grandfather Ethelbert Duke in 1850. Together they had two daughters Roana & Mary Jane . Husband Ethelbert Duke died in 1858. Martha and the girls are listed in 1860 census, Martha is listed as "Martha Jones" assumed daughter of Samuel and Frances Jones. Frances(Carver)Jones is her biological mother and Samuel Jones is her step father.
Martha remarried in 1861 to Lewis Holt. Together they had three daughters Mary Catherine, Sarah Maggie, and Augusta Alvatine.
