Obituary:
DIED In Spring Point Township, of billious colic, Nov. 1st, 1896, Daniel Kingery, who was born in Ross County, Ohio Jan. 12th, 1808 aged 88 years, 9 months and 21 days. He came to Illinois in 1842, settled on the farm where he died and where he had lived ever since, an honored and respected citizen. He leaves a large posterity to mourn his loss. His funeral was preached by Rev. Burdett, of Montrose, the following day, after which his remains were deposited in the family grave yard by the side of his wife who preceded him some 7 years.
