The baby, Marion, died at 9 1/2 months old, just 2 1/2 months before her mother died. They died of the flu epidemic .
Viola and Baby Marion were buried at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, Stephens County, Oklahoma, but their graves were lost due to mud slides and heavy rains, they were presumed washed into the creek, and on down into the lake.
The picture of Viola was given to me from her daughter, Ruby.
