Born and educated in Louisiana, Dr. Rogers came to Amsterdam and open his practice in 1932. He was a former Jefferson County coroner and was a member of the Academy of General Practitioners: Jefferson County Medical Association; Ohio Medical Association and the American Medical Association. Dr. Rogers was graduated from Tulane Medical School, New Orleans, and interned at Charity Hospital, in New Orleans. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amsterdam the Amsterdam Moose Lodge and the Steubenville Elks Club.
