Mrs. Carrie C. Hawkins, 78, died at 9 o'clock this morning at Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. She had made her home at 1710 Wilmer Avenue.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. A.B. Cosper of Anniston and Mrs. J.W. Simmons of Fort Worth, Tex.; three sons, Fred Foster of Fort Worth, Charles Foster of Birmingham and Frank Foster of Anniston; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Ursey Chapel with Dr. Edwin Kimbrough officiating. Burial will be in the Edgemont Cemetery.
The time of services will be announced later.
