MALLORY, Deaconess Lucy Dabney, of Montpelier, peacefully entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 29, 2021. Born November 24, 1933, to the late Ralph E. And Mary R. Dabney, Lucy was predeceased by her brother, Charles E. Dabney; and sisters, Thelma D. Nelson, Arletha D. Davis and Arlene D. Jackson; her husband of 47 years, Deacon Wilber W. Mallory Sr.; and daughter, Janice M. Waller. Lucy leaves to cherish her precious memory two devoted sons, Wilber Jr. (Cheryl) and Timothy Sr. (Anita); two devoted daughters, Caroline and Bertina; eight grandchildren, Steven, Dana, DeLaci, Alana, Wilber III (Trey) (Hannah), Noah, Julian and Timothy Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Kameron and Kaleb; two sisters, Sadie D. Yancey and Edna M. Dabney; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her remains rest with Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, where a walk-through viewing will be held TODAY, 3 to 7 p.m. Graveside service Thursday, May 6, 12 noon at the Dabney Family Cemetery on Holly Grove Rd., in Bumpass.
