Rodger D. Boone, 76, of Marshall, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at his home.
Mr. Boone was born October 3, 1944 in Madison County to his late parents, Claude and Ruth Crowe Boone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Anne Grant Boone.
Rodger retired from General Tire after 30 years. He enjoyed working on classic cars, listening to music, wood working and spending time with his family. He was a member of Davis Chapel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children, Randy Boone (Emily), Curtis Edwards, Angela Randall (T.W.), and Tanya Cooper; grandchildren: Tabetha Jenkins (Brandon), Victoria Kennedy (Kody), Keri Cooper, Chance Randall, Tiffany Edwards, Emily Edwards and Curt Michael Edwards (Taylor); great grandchildren: Aubrey Jenkins, Karlee Jenkins, Carlee Edwards, Paislee Edwards, Bailee Edwards, Bryson Edwards, Austin Edwards, Anthony Edwards, AverieAnne Edwards, Brooklyn Edwards, Brieanna Edwards, Corah Edwards and Corbin Edwards.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2021 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Services with Brother Billy Ledford officiating. Burial will follow in the City Cemetery.
