Kathy McGee
Kathy McGee, 64, of Warren, died Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on March 29, 1957, in San Augustine, to Nellie Mae Higginbotham and Elder Chappell.
Kathy enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, and Nanna.
Kathy is survived by her daughters, Melissa Craig and her husband, Dennis, of Lumberton and Crystal McGee, of Vidor; sons, John McGee, of Warren; Tommy McGee and his wife, Amber, of Hemphill; and Jessie McGee, of Pineland; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Lillie Folks and her husband, Gary, of Conroe; and brother, Donice Chappell, of Lufkin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Nellie and Elder Chappell; sisters, Zelma Flemings, Louise Kinnaird, Bessie Norwood; and Gloria Fay Burleson; and brothers, Buddy, Manuel, and William Rudolph Chappell.
Cremation arrangements for Ms. McGee were handled through Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
