Elizabeth Fowler Azoy, 95, of Chatham, N.J., passed away on Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, at her home.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Nov. 8, 2014, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 70 Maple Ave., Morristown, N.J. 07960.
An inurnment will follow in St. Peter's Memorial Garden.

Elizabeth was born on May 24, 1919, in Newburgh, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anson and Hazel (née Osterhoudt) Fowler.
She graduated from Smith College in 1942, and received her master's degree in economics from New York University in 1953.
Elizabeth was a financial news reporter for the New York Times newspaper for over 36 years before retiring in 1992. During her career at the New York Times, Elizabeth wrote on the stock and commodities markets, and consumer related news.
She wrote a weekly personal finance column and, in later years with the Times, a weekly careers column.
Elizabeth was the author of five books on financially related subjects and career planning.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Philip Livingston Azoy, after 54 years of marriage in 2004.
She is survived by her daughters, Katrina Azoy and Cynthia Rooke, and her grandson, Davis Rooke.
