On Saturday Feb. 7, 1903, at his home east of Scio, Antone Cladek, aged 76 years. Antone was born in Bohemia. He came to Linn County four years ago, since then he has resided on the farm where he died. He was respected by all who knew him. Besides an aged wife and three sons, he leaves a host of sorrowing friend to mourn his demise. His remains were interred in the Franklin Butte cemetery Monday.
