'Mrs. Emma Carr, a widow, died at her home at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Caviness of tuberculosis after a prolonged illness. She was the wife of H.P. Carr, deceased who was a well known business man formerly of Sumner and Direct, who died a few years ago at Caviness where he was engaged in the mercantile business. The deceased was the daughter of Dan Buster, one of the old settlers of Emberson Prairie and was the sister of Wes Buster, a well known farmer. She leaves a little daughter about eight years old and is survived by her mother, three sisters and two brothers. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at Prairie Ridge Cemetery.'
