Betty L. Gochenour, 95, of Peru, passed away at 5:10am on Sunday, April 25, 2021 and went to the loving arms of her Lord and Savior.

She was born in Peru, Indiana on December 8, 1925. She was a hairdresser since 1962 and also worked at Dukes Memorial Hospital for 17 years.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Gochenour, Karen Sims, and Debra Cline, all of Peru. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a sister, Doris Gardner-Oliver.

She was preceded in death by a son Vernon Eugene, and a daughter Sandra Clingaman. Also a brother Richard Myers, and a sister Joan Bedwell.

Visitation will be held from 12pm – 2pm on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 2pm, with Pastor Rod Correll officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana.
