Agnes I. Hosselton, 76, of Clay City, Illinois, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Clay County Hospital in Flora, Illinois.

Agnes was born September 12, 1944 at Olney, Illinois to Earl D. and Lola (Benskin) Bayler. She married Ronald G. Hosselton September 3, 1965 at Zif Baptist Church at Clay City, Illinois.

Agnes was a housewife and worked at Clay City Banking Company at Clay City, Illinois and Farm Service at Louisville, Illinois. She enjoyed gardening, helping her husband on the farm and was the bookkeeper for their farm. Agnes was a member of the Zif Missionary Baptist Church at Clay City, Illinois.

Agnes is survived by her husband Ronald Hosselton of Clay City, Illinois, and a son David Hosselton of Cisne, Illinois. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter Amanda Sue, one brother Dolan Bayler, one sister Erma Denton, and her stepmother Nellie.

Burial will be in Zif Cemetery.
