STAFFORD - Charles P. Schott, Sr., 87, formerly of Harriettsville, a retired farmer, died at 10 a.m. Sunday in Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell, where he had been a patient five years. He was born Sept. 8, 1889 in Noble County. Mr. Schott was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Harriettsville. Surviving are his widow, the former Lenora Ullman, whom he married in March 1922; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Barker of Millersburg, Mrs. Esther Hesson of Cumberland, and Mrs. Anna Mae Brooker of Churchtown; six sons, Charles Jr. of Lower Salem, Joe of Middleburg, Nick of Dexter City, Neil, James, and Dean Schott, all of Marietta; two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Baker of Baltimore Md. and Mrs. Laura Biedenbach of Iowa;; two brothers, Henry of Caldwell and Clarence of Florida; 48 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Henry's Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Mallett Funeral Home where friends may call 7 to 9 today and 2 to 4 and 7to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
