BERDUX, Valentine W. (Val)

On Thursday, Jan. 9, 1986, at K-W Hospital, Valentine W. (Val) Berdux, aged 86 years, of 75 York St., Kitchener. Dearly beloved husband of his loving wife, Clara. Predeceased by his son, Jack in 1935; two brothers and three sisters. Mr. Berdux was born at Wellesley, son of the late Ferdinand Berdux and the former Catharine Roeder. Val was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo, for over 50 years; formerly owned and operated Berdux Meat Market in Waterloo, then was a well known fur rancher, until his retirement and had a book published entitled "The Berdux Method of Chinchilla Raising". Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and until noon on Monday, then at St. John's Lutheran Church, 22 Willow St., Waterloo, for the funeral service at 2: 30 p.m. Monday, Rev. Eric Weber officiating. Interment Waterloo Mount Hope cemetery.
