Arlo Ambrosier, 90, Liberal, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, in Douglass. He was born June 27, 1917, to James C. and Nellie M. Knouf Ambrosier in Hill City. He married Ellen E. Fetterolt June 3, 1937, in Hill City. She died July 18, 2004. He attended school in Hill City, where he lettered in football. He began a life-long career with R. C. Williams, oilfield heavy equipment moving company, moving to Liberal in 1953. He was manager until retiring in 1985. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Liberal. He was an avid fisherman and loved building things. He is survived by two daughters, Faylene Cambern and husband, Charles, Liberal, and Kaylene Freeman and husband, Vance, Goddard; six grandchildren, Ellen Banister and husband, Daryl, Augusta, Helen Shawver and husband, Martin, Douglass, Dulene Rathbun, Wichita, William Pittman and wife, Kim, Douglass, Amanda Freeman, Wichita, and Michelle Freeman, Wichita; two stepgrandchildren, Ryan Cambern, Dallas, and Travis Cambern and wife, Erin, Tulsa, Okla.; six great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jerad Banister, Augusta, Sally and Blaine Shawver, Douglass, and Morgan and Montgomery Rathbun, Wichita; and one stepgreat- granddaughter, Caroline Cambern, Tulsa. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Anna Arlene Ambrosier.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Christian Church with the Dr. Rev. Jack Russell presiding. Graveside services and burial will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Hill City Cemetery.
