CHAPIN -- Funeral services were held at the Chapin Methodist Church for Benjamin Sherman Andrews, 80, who died at his home here Sunday after several months' illness. Services were in charge of the Rev. H.L. Sherman, burial in the Sheffield Cemetery.

Mr. Andrews, the son of Sarah Ann and Josiah Andrews, was born in Streater, Illinois, on January 28, 1873. He married Anna F. Walker of Roseville, Illinois, on July 17, 1894. They came to Iowa in 1913 and settled in Centerville, where he was employed in the mines and on farms in that area.

They came to North Iowa in 1919, where he was employed at the Sheffield Brick Yard and in the tiling business. The family came to Chapin about 10 years ago.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Leland J. Andrews of Minneapolis, and Clyde Andrews of Mason City; and five daughters, Mrs. Glen Cowell of Moulton, Mrs. C.F. Emhoff of Zearing, Mrs Lloyd Abrams of Thor, Mrs. James Kraus of Mason City, and Mrs. Edna Smith of Los Angeles, California; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
