Friday, May 31, 1940, at his home, 20 East Green street, this city, at the age
of 66 years. He was a retired electrician with the Gas and Electric
Company and was also a retired member of the Westminster Fire
Department. Surviving are one brother, Samuel J. Helm. Westminster,
and the following sisters: Mrs. Grace Warner, Florida, Mrs. George Hook,
Union Mills, and Mrs. Frank Shaeffer, Westminster.
The funeral was held Monday with services from the late home at 3 P. M.
The Rev. Paul W. Quay and the Rev. J. Hess Belt officiated. Interment
was in Krider's cemetery.
The pallbearers were: Jacob Gahle, Charles Seboure, George Fowble,
Frank Hoffman, Harry Case and Leonard Shaeffer.
