Mr. Virgil Thomas McGee, 78, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at his home. He was born in Stokes County on May 6, 1942 to the late Ernest and Lillian McGee. Mr. McGee loved blue grass music, his church, and his family. In addition to his parents, Mr. McGee was preceded in death by three brothers: Bobby, Mac, and Aldeen McGee; and three sisters: Virginia Butner, Phyllis Isaacs, and Margie Gardner. Virgil is survived by his loving wife, Janie Lee Eaton McGee; one son, Michael T. McGee (Annette); two grandchildren, Zachary Michael McGee (fiancé, Nicole) and Ana Taverniti; and three sisters: Inez Tuttle, Betty James, and Kay Henning. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, April 22 at Pinnacle Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Horne and the Rev. Danny Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:50 PM at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Pinnacle Baptist Church, P.O.
