William A. Ballard, Sr., 87 of Indianapolis passed away June 13, 2012. He was born October 24, 1924 in Seymour, Indiana to Henry A. and Myrtle J. Ballard who have preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Minnie R. (Mudd) Ballard and his son, William A. Ballard, Jr. William was a truck driver having worked at many different companies in Indianapolis. Mr. Ballard had operated a church mission on West Washington Street for many years. He attended South Irvington Nazarene Church and enjoyed spending time fishing with his family.
Mr. Ballard is survived by his sons, James E. Ballard Sr. and Robert L. Ballard, Sr.; daughter, Kathy Sue Crane; sister, Cora J. Holt; grandchildren, Angela Wilson, William Ballard III, Stephanie Ballard, James Ballard, Jr., Shelli Ballard, Troy Ballard, Kevin Hood, Chad Hood, Robert L. Ballard, Jr., Jennifer D.
