Agle Lee was born to John Wesley Spray and Eliza Elizabeth Thomas (Worrell) on August 23, 1908 in Haskell County, Texas. He married Rosa Aurora Smith in Oklahoma on October 26, 1929. Jack and Rosa moved to Matador where they bought land about 8 miles from the town center in what was known as White Flat, Texas and became cotton farmers. They raised five children on their farm (Norman, Melvin "Sleepy", Bill, Geney and Melba). Jack and Rosa worked hard, loved their children and grandchildren and gave all thanks to God for their many blessings. Jack passed over to his heavenly home on the 8th of August, 1988 from complications of Emphysema. He was loved dearly by his family and friends. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.
