Andy was a graduate from Springer High School in the class of 1946. Upon graduation he enrolled at Oklahoma A&M where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. Andy then enlisted with the United States Air Force and attended Officer Training School. On September 21, 1952, he married the love of his life, Kathryn June Brock in Ardmore, Okla. After being transferred to Cheyenne Wyoming, his father grew ill, and Andy received an Honorable Discharge to return home to run Arnold's General Store in Springer, Okla. He remained there until 1969 and then opened the E-Z Shop(s) in Ardmore along with his brother- in- law, Jerry Elmore. Andy retired in 1990 and he & Kathryn enjoyed the next 15 years traveling in their motorhome with Donna & Jerry Elmore as well as spending time at their Lake House @ Lake Texoma's Soldier Creek. They also enjoyed gathering with their close friends for a monthly luncheon and playing cards.
