Sloffer Glen, 87, R. 3, Churubusco, died Tuesday at his home. He was born Aug. 24, 1893 in Noble County to Charles Wesley and Edith E. Bowman Sloffer. In June 1920 he married Myrtle Zinn and they lived all their married life on the present farm. He taught school for 10 years, was a trustee of Eel River Twp and had held many county offices. He is survived by his wife; 2 sons, Everett and Dale of R. 3, Churubusco; 3 daughters, Mrs. Al (Irene) Magner of R. 3, Churubusco, Mrs. Jimmy (Beulah) Allman of Churubusco, and Mrs. David (Ruth) Neuhouser of Upland; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be today at Sheets Funeral Home. Burial, Eel River Cemetery.
