The funeral service for Rory D. Baade, 52, Aberdeen, will be 1:00pm, Monday, November 15, 2010 at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St, Aberdeen, with Pastor Jon Droege officiating. Rory died Thursday, at Aberdeen health & Rehab. Visitation will be from 9am until the time of service at the funeral home. Grateful for having shared Rorys life are his brothers, Leland (Rhonda) Baade, Wayne Stone, sisters, Sherri Shields and Mary (Quincy) Bad Moccasin. Rory Dean Baade was born in Sioux Falls, SD on December 18, 1957 to Elwin Baade and Marian Stone. He graduated with a GED. He attended college at the American Indian Art Institute in New Mexico and also attended school at Kenneth Hagen School of Ministry in Olkahoma. He also attended a technical school for televistion production in Montana. Rory worked in various vocations such as broadcast technician, construction and maintenance. He enjoyed traveling, listening to music, playing guitar, writing poems and songs. Rory enjoyed spending time with his friends and was always ready to help someone in need. He loved animals and had several pets throughout his life. Rory was a free spirit who lived life on his own terms.
