Our kind, generous, comical mom, Susan Kay Allen Compton, 64, rejoined her Father in heaven and loving husband on April 18, 2021 in Richfield. She was born July 28, 1956 in Murray, UT to James Russell and Pearl Elaine Wilson Allen. She married Larry Kent Compton on July 29, 1983 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple on May 21, 2003. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2000.
Sue deeply loved her family and amazing grandchildren. She was devoted in her faith in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed going camping and fishing, bowling, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survived by her children: James Christopher (Angela) Compton, Elsinore; Jennifer (Peary) Compton, Richfield; 6 grandchildren; siblings: Bob Allen, Salt Lake; Judy Irish, Eugene, OR; Linda Spencer, DE; Michael (Jeanie) Allen, Mapleton; Rick Allen, Richfield; Ronald (Laura) Allen, Layton; Darin Allen, West Valley City.
Also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Allen, David Allen; sister-in-law, Sharon Bradley.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Richfield 2nd Ward Chapel,700 West 200 South, where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Richfield Cemetery, 800 North Main Street in Richfield.
