He was born in Fayette County and for the past 40 years had lived in Williamson County where he was engaged in farming. He was married in 1914 to Mrs. Sophie Kahanek, who survives him.
Survivors other than his widow are seven sons, Frank Jr., Cigmund [Sigmund?], William, Method, George, Victor, and Sylvester Zett, all of Granger; and six daughters, Mrs. Henry Bartosh of Taft, Mrs. Frank Hajda of Granger, Misses Tracy, Gertrude, Victoria, and Sylvia Zett, all of Granger; two brothers, John Zett of Bartlett and Rudolph Zett of Granger; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Jurecka of Granger, and Mrs. Tracy Sefka of Galveston; and five grandchildren.
One daughter, Mrs. Albert Lee Lange, preceded him in death Nov. 11, 1945.
The body will remain at the Gilstrap Funeral Home until Monday morning when it will be taken to the family residence where services will be held at 9:15 o'clock, followed by services at 10 o'clock at the Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church in Granger with the Msgr. J. J. Vanecek, assisted by the Rev. George Tydlacks, officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Granger.
