Paul Joseph Riding, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on April 8, 2021. Paul was born in Pioche, Nevada, on December 31, 1951, to Kathleen Cottam and Edwin Riding. He attended Brigham Young University, where he met his wife, Terese, and together they had six children and 16 grandchildren. He served seven years in the Marine Corps as a flight officer with the "Black Knights" squadron. In 1981, the family settled in Troutdale, OR, and Paul worked in the hearing aids industry for the next 40 years. A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Paul loved the Lord and serving his community. In his free time he enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking, cycling, and gardening. Paul is survived by his wife Terese, and his children Kelly Riding, Andrea (Scott) Taylor, Kristy (Josh) Dorrough, Matt Riding, Stephanie (Weston) Pratt, Jay (Lindsay) Riding, and his 16 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Ronald Riding, John Riding, Alice Heaton, and Ruth Pooler. The funeral is on April 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. MDT in Santa Clara, UT.
