Penelope Binkley Brake, 62, Clarksville, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, at Gateway Medical Center.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sykes Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Greg Plummer officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to until the hour of the service Monday at the funeral home.

She was born Sept. 12, 1941, in Clarksville, daughter of Emanuel Binkley Jr. and Ida Bertha Haley Williams. Mrs. Brake was a retired aide at Montgomery County Nursing Home and a Baptist.

In addition to her father of Virginia, survivors include her husband, Vernon Samuel "Sam" Brake, Clarksville; a son, Todd Brake, Clarksville; two daughters, Candy Hill and Becky Seay, both of Clarksville; four brothers, Charles Raymond Binkley, North Carolina, James Binkley, Illinois, Danny Coleman, Clarksville, and Roy Laster, Missouri; four sisters, Sue Miller, Johnson City, Patricia Schillag, Michigan, Barbara Taylor, Virginia, and Lynda Williams, Clarksville; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Bachuwa, Anthony Bachuwa, Chris Bachuwa, Barry Brake, Chris Brake, Kevin Haley, Charlie Seay and Chuck Seay.
