Mr. Breheny was born in West Des Moines and lived in Des Moines until he moved to Rockford in 1960. He worked for Iowa Packing Co., Marquette Cement Manufacturing Co., retired from the Army after 20 years' service and worked in the fingerprinting department for the Rockford sheriff's office. He was president of the Winnebago County, Sheriff's Association in Illinois.
Mr. Breheny is survived by his wife, Emy; a son, William, at home; two daughters, Heidi, at home, and Mrs. Sanda Hurtel of Englewood, California, his mother, Mrs. Margaret Breheny of Des Moines; a sister Doris Breheny, of Des Moines, and two brothers, Bob Earl Breheny and Edward Breheny, both of Des Moines.
