Margaret Marie (Margie) Buddenberg (79) passed away April 10, 2021.
She was born in Marche, Arkansas to Frank and Agnes Leece.
She was a graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Elementary School in Marche and Sylvan Hills High School in Sherwood, Arkansas in 1959.
She married her childhood sweetheart, Joe Buddenberg Jr. They were married 59 years until his passing in January 2020. Margie and Joe were inseparable. They loved to dance. Polkas, waltzes, and the jitterbug were among their favorites. They are now united in eternal happiness.
She is survived by her son, Joey (Cindy) Buddenberg of Conway and daughters Debbie (Richard) Royal of Wesley and Karen (Joe) Massey of Jonesboro, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Eddie (Joyce) Leece, Martha (Bobby) Willard, and Laurie (Joey) Goshen all of North Little Rock, and many nieces and nephews.
She dedicated herself to her family and did everything with them. She went on many canoe trips, even though she could not swim and was afraid of water, because she wanted to be with Joe, kids, and friends. She was famous for her coconut cream pie, cocoon cookies, cinnamon rolls, chicken pot pie and spaghetti. Margie will be forever missed by family and friends who have wonderful memories to cherish.
A memorial service will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Marche (North Little Rock) on May 15, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choosing that reminds you of your time with her.
