She is survived by her three children, Robert Jr., Eliza, and John as well as her grandchildren, Bo, Kelley, Jonathan, and Anna, and her sister, Nancy Proffit Shelor.
She was preceded in death by her most beloved and cherished husband Robert Spessard.
There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the Jacksonville Cemetery in Floyd Virginia. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity. The family is being served by Gardner Funeral Home.
