Mrs. Dan A. Sheil, 36, lifelong resident of Rock Island, died yesterday morning in her home, 111 Fourth avenue, Rock Island, after a brief illness of complications.
Her maiden name was Myrtle Anna Murrin and she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Murrin, 328 Eleventh street, Rock Island. She was a sister of Mrs. Howard Harrington of Chicago, former resident of Moline.
Mrs. Sheil was born in Rock Island on Sept. 8, 1889. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church. She married Dan A. Sheil seventeen years ago.
Surviving are the widower; four daughter, Myrtle, Margaret Fern, Rosemary and Jane, two sons, Basil and Bernard, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Murrin, three sisters, Mrs. Howard Harrington of Chicago, Mrs. Fred L. Mitchell and Mrs. Roy C. Sowers, both of Rock Island, and two brothers, Otto of Moline and Alger of Chicago.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sheil will be held tomorrow morning in St. Joseph's church. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery.
