Obituary / Mr. Julius Callaway / Greensboro Herald-Journal / December 21, 1984 - Julius Mullins Callaway, 65, of Greensboro died Sunday December 16th at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens. Mr. Callaway was a life long resident of Greene County. He was born June 30, 1919 the son of the late Jack and Mary Callaway. Mr. Callaway was a well established electrician and plummer in Greensboro for many years. He had a wide circle of friends who were saddened by his death. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Jessie C. Collins of Greensboro, and one brother, Mr. Bennie L. Callaway of Greensboro. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon Dec. 18th at 3 P.M. at McCommons Chapel in Greensboro with Rev. Wayne Usry officiating. Interment was at the Greensboro City Cemetery. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers were Bobby Duvall, Douglas Huff, John Carr, Eugene Channell, Joey, Fleming and David Cheeley. J.H. McCommons Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
