He was the owner/operator of Jordan Supply House, Allentown, for 23 years retiring in 1996. He was of the Reformed faith. he was a member of the Allentown Sertoma Club, Fullerton Legion and a life member of the Fullerton Fire Company. He was a 32nd degree member of Porter Masonic Lodge 284. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors: Wife; sons, Jack and his wife, Ann, of Allentown, Richard Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Northampton, Douglas at home; brother, Robert A. of Breinigsville; sister, Charlene Biles of Emmaus; grandchildren, Jennifer, Amanda, Ryan and Rick.
Services: 10 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2006 in Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown, Pa. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
