Robert V. Doty Sr., 62, of 763 Queen St., Southington, died Thursday morning at his home.
Mr. Doty, who was born in Whitehall, N.Y., was a resident of Southington for 28 years. He was a member of St. Thomas Church and the C.B. Club. Prior to his retirement he was employed by New Departure Division of General Motors, Bristol.
Mr. Doty leaves one son, Robert V. Doty Jr., of Southington; one sister, Mrs. Rose McCabe of Whitehall, New York.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning from McShane Funeral Home, 18 Bentley St., Poultney, Vt. Burial will be in St Raphael's Cemetery, Poultney.
