Sam Pollock of Gadsden and Guntersville Lake, died at a Gadsden hospital Wednesday after a long illness. Mr. Pollock has been the Chevrolet dealer of Gadsden for many years. He bought one of the first cottages built on Bucks Island and he and his family divided their time between here and Gadsden for 15 years. He is survived by his wife; a son, Sam Burney Pollock and grandson. Funeral service were held in Gadsden Thursday morning.
