Nancy K. Woodward, 80, of Flora, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, April 6, 2021 at her home. She was born on April 19, 1940 in Sullivan County, IN to Samuel and Alpha Marie (Akers) Graves. She married Bailey Woodward on January 5, 1957; he preceded her in death on March 22, 1983.
Nancy attended school in Shelburn, IN. She was a member of the Bringhurst United Methodist Church for many years. Nancy had worked for Stephan's IGA in Flora for almost 30 years prior to her retirement. She loved to read, spoil her grandchildren and spend her free time at the Flora Senior Citizens Center.
Nancy is survived by five children; four siblings; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a son, Terry G. Woodward; and four siblings - Joy Brenton, David Graves, Helen Schriver and Samuel Graves.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 1 PM until the start of the funeral service at 2 PM at Genda Funeral Home ~ Reinke Chapel. Pastor Brad Burton will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.
