Survivors include one son, Jack W. Garner, Jr. and his wife, Beth, of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Terrie Garner of Louisville; three sisters, Annie Page of Glasgow, Judy Compton and her husband, David, of Hiseville, Rebecca Wooten and her husband, Mike, of Glasgow; two brothers, Joe Garner and his wife, Barbara, of Tennessee, and Richard Garner of Michigan; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Howard Garner; three brothers, Robert Garner, Earl Garner and Paul Garner; three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Neal's Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
