He was born in Manila, Philippines, and was one of eight children to Loreto and Alfonso Lazarte, Sr. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1984 and became a citizen after three years.
He resided in Edison, NJ, for the remainder of his life. He was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Vivian Lazarte, their two daughters, Janise Lazarte and Lindsey Carson, and four siblings, Flora Gawaran, Connie Balanquit, Carol Casil, and Antonio Lazarte.
He worked as a foreman at Royal Apex for over 20 years, then finished his career as a machine operator at McNichols Co. He was a jack of all trades, he loved music, cooking, fishing, his dog Yogi, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was a loving father, husband, brother, and son.
A viewing will be held at the Piscataway Funeral Home on Thursday, April 8th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. EST followed by a service on Friday, April 9th at 10 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to come. He will be buried at Lake Nelson Memorial Cemetery.
