Mrs. Virginia Kathleen Samples, age 82 of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was a member of Eastbrook Baptist Church.
Virginia was preceded in death by her mother, Inez Parrish; father, Edward Parrish; sister, Nadine Dill; brothers, Charles Parrish, and Eugene Parrish; son, Donnie Tancrede; granddaughter, Amber Tancrede.
Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Herbert Samples of Dalton; sons and daughter-in-law, Tinker and Kathleen Tancrede of Tunnel Hill, Danny Tancrede of Chatsworth, Davey Tancrede of Chatsworth; daughters and-son-in-law, Donna and Kenneth Rumfelt of Erin, TN, Lattrell Samples of Knoxville, TN; sister, Joan Parrish of Calhoun; grandchildren, Rebecca Lindsey, Melissa Perrin, Brandon Rumfelt, Andree McCuiston, Tosha Martinez, Stephen Tancrede, Michelle Trammel, Megan Tancrede, Danny Tancrede, Summer Tancrede; many great-grandchildren and many great great- grandchildren; extended family also survives.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Virginia Kathleen Samples will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 11:00a.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Daryl Ballew officiating. Interment will follow at Center Valley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
