Kenneth Edward Milam, 79, of Raleigh passed away peacefully at home April 3, 2021 surrounded by his immediate and extended family following months of declining health. Born to Frank and Lula (Whitlock) Milam July 3, 1941, in Burlington, NC, Kenneth graduated from NCSU as a civil engineer and remained a lifelong Wolfpack supporter. He worked for the NCDOT for over 30 years, where he was affectionately known as "King" Milam for his unparalleled expertise. Kenneth was a witty, kind, and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved the Lord and was a member of North Ridge Church where he served as deacon for many years.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 56 years Lynda, daughter Cindi Teel (Mark), son Michael (Lisa), grandchildren Christopher, Baylor, Nathanael, Hudson, and Katherine, brother Garreth (Donna), and sister Sharon.

Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 pm Tuesday April 6 at Brown Wynne Funeral Home on Millbrook Rd. with a service at North Ridge Church at 2:00 pm on April 7.
