Alice V. Harrison passed away Friday, April 2nd, 2021 at her residence in Jackson, MS. She was 89. Alice was born on February 7th, 1932 to the late Willie Ernest and Elizabeth Stout Barlow and is an MS native. She has been in the Jackson Metro area since 1965 and was a member of Way of Grace Baptist Church, serving her community in many capacities. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, her green thumb would be enjoyed every year with the beautiful azaleas she loved so much. She will be greatly missed.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of more than 60 years, Max Edwin Harrison.
She is survived by her daughters, Lucy McAdory of Madison, MS and Barbara Lynn Moore of Lumberton, NC; brother, Lowrey Barlow of Clinton, MS; sisters, Myra Bardin of Pearl, MS and Ardeth Marie Barlow of Florence, MS; grandchildren, Dustin Porter of Fayetteville, NC, Allison Taylor Harrison of New Orleans, LA and Andrew Pierce of Picayune, MS.
A graveside service will be held at Rosemont Cemetery in Jackson, MS Tuesday at 1:30 PM with Rev. Terry Rhea officiating.
