Barbara Jane Wilson, 75, of Tyrone, died Thursday. She was born in Philipsburg, daughter of the late Howard Charles and Margaret V. (Hatch) Robenolt. On Sept. 8, 1967, she was married by the Rev. Orel Brobeck, in Grazierville, to Warren Wilson, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Winshella (Mark) Cushion and Shawn Wilson; two grandsons, Ethan and Anthony Cushion; five brothers and sisters: Betty Yon, Peggy Matley, Nick Robenolt, Mike Robenolt and Donna Snyder. She was preceded in death by five siblings: Tammy Robenolt, Mary Simmonds, James Robenolt, Rose Scott and Howard Robenolt.
Barbara was a 1964 graduate of Tyrone High School. She was of the Protestant faith. Barbara was formerly employed as a seamstress at Big Yank. She loved baking and playing video games. She also enjoyed traveling to Virginia and attending baseball games.
A funeral service will be held for Barbara Jane Wilson at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone, with the Rev. Peggy Bonsell officiating. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Interment will follow at Burket Cemetery in Warriors Mark.
